How do you get rid of him

Exam time is over me, us, or whom ever this might concern. So why the hell did cupid have to stop by as well?! As if I didn’t have enough on my mind!

So now it’s even easier to not concentrate about the books.

For today the official list looks like this:
7.30 – woke up. Feeling good.
7.31 – “really nice dream – how perfect if he really was a navy officer”
8.45 – arriving at the university.
8.55 – “yawn, I’m tired – what do they put in the air at this place”
9.15 – “coffee now would be such a good idea”
9.16 – “oh yeah, I don’t like coffee”
9.17 – “tea then! Damn I fast today!”
9.55 – “okay now I’ll go back to stupid books”
10.30 – “I hate cupid – but I really like (lets just call him) X”
10.45 – “yes X is hot!”
12.00 – “wow, how efficient I am, 1 hour of reading stupid books”
12.01 – Lunch, desperately looking for X, and NV girl meeting (one word –stripper)
13.20 – “seriously what do the put in the air at this place.
13.25 – “boring books – wonder where I could run into X”
13.35 – “well his office would be a given”
13.36 – “come on Rikke, make something up so it would be natural to op by
X's office”
13.39 – “damn I’m slow today. I got nothing”
13.45 – “X is hot, wonder how he kisses – I bet its good”
14.25 – “Yes time for coffeebreak – tea it is!”
14.56 – “where the fuck is X hiding today”
15.15 – “boring books”
15.35 – “I would be a GREAT stewardess”
15.40 – “I really would. I smile a lot and I have this great curly hair”
15.58 – “wonder where they have the best stewardess uniforms,
15.59 – “maybe I would look good with a hat”
16.00 – “X would really love me as a stewardess”
16.02 – “books woman read the stupid books”
16.50 – “yes, yes, yes perfect reason to stop by the office”
17.00 – “Dammit what are all these nerds doing here”
17.01 – “oh my – X is so freaking hot, could I just go over and kiss him”
17.18 – “back with books – have they turned pink on me”
18.10 – “boring books are more fun when pink”
18.30 – “I deserve to go home now”

So here I am all tired from all the mindblowing thoughts. And still freaking cupid comes sneaking up on me. Please give me some peace you diperwearing fatso!

Old Ladies with green hair...

What are they trying to hide...

You've all seen them... the old ladies who think they can fool the world by colouring their hair. I seriously don't get it. Can't they see the colour, no it is not dark grey - it is green.
I've always thought ´bad thoughts about these ladies families, why don't they say anything to them, letting them walk around looking like fools. But this weekend i became one of them, not one of the greenhaired ones but the family ones. Lets call her my grandma, (not that we are related in any way, tbut with todays family patterns who the fuck are) she has always coloured her hair with a redish colour. But this saturday when she got out of her car and i saw her, i totally froze and mumbled something "nice to see you, you look good". One lie cominig straight up. And they kept coming the whole day, jeg rystede dem ud af ærmet som vi ville sige på dansk!

Normally i think that i'm a rather honest person. I usually say what comes to my mind, even though it sometimes might be a little hurtfull to some people. Of course i lie once in a while who doesn't, its part of living. But I have never used so may lies in one day. I don't even dare to think of how many "ave maria" that would have cost me if I had been a catholic. Fortunately she has gone home now, so i don't have to feel bad everytime i see her. And she did talk about going to the hair dresser next week...

A conspiracy comes to my mind! Old ladies don't colour their hair
themselves, they get it done when they go to the hairdresser to
have thei perm done every other month. (you know that same perm
all old ladies have). Maybe, just maybe the colour and the perm is some kind of code amongst hairdressers. Thei have started out with the elderly defenceless ladies, next in line will be the children. And one morning they will shout out "FIRE LE MISELES" and we all be hit by green hair and perms. And then they will take over the world...
One evil masterplan.
I think i need to lay down for a while...
Ciao

How easy one forgets… and greetings from my liver.

So now the midterm break is over. And my oh my I was fooled. It was so nice being at home with my family, doing absolutely nothing for a whole week. And then Monday morning, one has to go at up at 6.15 to go back to Århus. Back to studies, back to stress, and back to responsibilities. It is quite scary that it only takes a week to forget all those things. I had seriously forgotten how boring the book I’m reading at the moment is and how it always makes me yawn. There should be some kind of intro week after all kind of holidays. It can only be a win win situation. Win win for me at least :-)

But but but… the boring reality will only go on for 12 more days. 12 days and the axis of evil will strike in Copenhagen. Årsfest in the big city will be fabulous. Emil, if you read this please know that I was so happy when I heard you had decided to come. But seriously it is going to be wicked, the famous after party crew will only have one night together, and I’m quite sure we will make the most of it. So watch out.

I actually don’t think I can stop talking about how much I look forward to it. Though the party will one of my favourite ingredients – King Vala. Honey we will miss you so much, but we will make sure that we make you proud.

The weekend in Copenhagen will be even better since the liver-incident is over for good now. But let me just tell you what have happened since I came home from Finland. Called my doctor to get an appointment, and one should think that throwing up blood, being hospitalized in Finland, being treated by a Russian doctor and being told in Swedish/finnish/Russian that you have a bacteria infection in you liver, would make you doctor tell you that you should hurry down to the clinic. But no no. She could squeeze me in 4 days later. Hokkai. There she told me to stop taking the medicine Yurij (the Russian doctor) had prescribed to me. Instead she gave me some little red pills which had the very interesting side effect – nausea. Fun fun fun. But they are over now too. And I have today been told that I’m in good health. So it’s all just good. So I won’t be missing out on the upcoming årsfest, like I did in codex.

And by the way, we have 9 places left on the JUS ski trip. so if anyone is interested please contact me as soon as possible.

Now i'll go back to the boring reality again - the one where you hve to cook to get something to eat.

Toodles!

Late night calls from Oslo - Mazeltov!

Some might find it anoying being woken up at 4:35 AM by drunken lawstudents, but what can i say - I LOVE IT!

This night it was ms. president calling from Oslo. Not having much to say since it wasn't from her own phone she was calling. But she did get to tell me that she lost her purse with all her credit cards and her phone and then ofcourse about the selection of men in Oslo! You might call this useless information that at least could have waited til the morning, but you are wrong. So remember that when your friends call you it is just because they miss you, and if you miss them too you'll just be happy they called. Though I did have some problems explaining to my mother this morning why i was so happy being woken up at 4:35.

These people calling me are mostly members of the Nordist-community. A bunch of lawstudents going to these Nordic weeks. Which is something you just can't explain, but you will find yourself being drunk alot and sometimes trying to hide that from the partner at the lawfirm you are visiting. But first of all it's a lot of fun.

I came home from one of these weeks last monday, and though my health had a tough week it was the best week in a long time. The "convention" took place in Helsinki, the host being Codex. And what a great place. Where else can you clap your hands and scream VODKA, and ten seconds later there is vodka in front of you, i tell you this Klubbis thing is the best ever. And thank you to all of the Klubbisar, you were all fantastic during the whole week, and i'm sorry i might have gotten you into trouble by shooting a champagne cork at the bus driver.

Then there was the Hyttetur. Driving there i didn't remember that it took so long, but that might have something to do with the above mentioned champagne. But the hyttetur was great fun, 72 bottles of Koskenkorva had found their way to the thirsty nordist's and the day after it showed. One guy was missing all of his clothes and another guy didn't believe it was already morning and couldn't remember if he had gone to sleep. Helgi and Emil - i love you guys.

Now it was time for the "serious" stuff. Visits to lawfirms. First up was Borenius & Kemppinen, here i discovered that i'm farely good at throwing food at the proletary from a balcony. Actually so good that i had to go back inside. Next in line was Rochier Holmberg. They said a lot of stuff about legal matters i Russia, but the important part was the giftbags - there were miniature bottles with vodka - a perfect opportunity to have a conference at the toitlet. Conference being a meeting in the toilets were you sing and drink! Last event this day was the traditionel K-supé. For those of you who doesn't know what that is... in teams of two, you have to finish a bottle of koskenkorva as fast as possible, only being aloud to drink after the "snapsviser". It was my first attending to this "thing" but it was fun, though a bit weird!

Next day and two other lawfirms. Breakfast at Hannes Snellman, very much needed. Hereafter there was bowling and beer, and i must say that bowling with gust, mighty midget and mrs. bear (myself being ms universe) was so much fun. Thanks to you guys for beíng as lousy as me to this game. Then we were of to Castrén & Snellman, where some lady talked way to much about some legal stuff. Sorry for the broken champagne glass by the way. But the minute she stopped talking it became so much more fun, bottles of wine found their way to the table, and the last member of the kitty club arrived, Carina we were all so exited to see you, we were like kids at christmas eve. And somehow during all this me, the midget and ms. president had gotten a bit salonsberuset. But that just made the trip home so much more fun, this was the trip where we met stomping steve and his friend peewee. Steve stomping away as a crazy person! Dammit i'm laughing my ass of just thinking about it. Vala you know what i mean! Russian theme party - hilarious - nothing more mothing less. "Sorry" for stealing the toiletbrush, but i'm sure the carowner was glad to have his tires cleaned. AARGH Vala i miss you.

Not feeling so well the next morning we were off to Nordic Investment Bank for lunch. And this is where the nightmare begins. Several hours later i was on my way to the hospital, and though the doctor was cute, i didn't feel that secure about him since he know Kiril, the legend. But mostly i was surprised that kiril knows karate. Then the doctor asked me when i was going back to denmark, monday i answered. "aw thats to bad, otherwise we could have met up at the pykälä sitning next friday" he answered. Weird. So then off to the next hospital where the russian doctor Yurij gave me all the drugs he had stored, but thanks i liked it! And then, finally, i were alloud to go home.

Sillis the next day. Not quite the same experience in sober condition. Sober since the doctor told me i had some kind of liverinfektion. But Sonja darling, you did so great. I was kind of proud of you, and in the same time thinkng "why do we do this to people we actually like". That was also the ending of the week.

But i had decided to stay a little longer so lunch and city walk the next day with some fabulous people, more crying goodbyes at the ferry, and pizzanight at JV's. And guys it was so "hyggeligt". You are all amazing people and i can honestly say that i love each and everyone of you.

Mazeltov!

Hokkai - Let's try this!

Folk fortæller mig at jeg skal ha' sådan en blog, så det prøver jeg hermed.

Har intet spændende at fortælle lige nu, skal lige have det til at fungere først!
